Two and three-bedroom houses on a new development in Bridgend, South Wales, are expected to be snapped up quickly by buyers looking to move this summer.
Townhouses on the Coed Castell development are ready for immediate occupation and are being targeted at buyers who want to move swiftly.
Developer Barratt Homes claims that there are a limited number of homes available for fast movers in the first phase of the new complex, with more townhouses being built over the coming months to meet housing demand in the area.
Barratt Homes sales director, Sandra Dixon, said: "The timing is perfect for those wanting to be settled in their new home over the summer months and with prices from £220,000 we are expecting these properties to be reserved quickly."
Located close to the Welsh coastline with excellent accessibility to towns and cities, Coed Castell is in the village of Brackla, close to Bridgend, which has a selection of pubs and leisure facilities and several excellent schools nearby.
Official figures from the department for Communities and Local Government (CLG) indicated that UK house prices rose by 10.9 per cent for the year to May 2007, with the cost of an average home in Wales reaching £163,852 over the month.
