Brierley development provides next step on the ladder

A new development of homes in Brierley, Yorkshire, provides buyers with a pretty village setting and a selection of properties.

The Church Gate development is ideal for people taking their next step up the property ladder, with a number of larger properties available for second or third time buyers.

Located next to Brierley's pretty village church, the Barratt Homes site is now home to Andrew King and his neighbours Emma and Mark Cornell, who have all moved from Barratt's Manor Fields development at Great Houghton.

The trio are upgrading to the three storey, four-bed Woodcotes from smaller homes and have praised the quality and value for money Barratt has offered them in scaling up.

Making his second move to another Barratt development, Mr King said: "Church Gate is in a fantastic location in a traditional South Yorkshire village and the Woodcote is my ideal new home. It is a step up the housing ladder and thanks to the good experience I had last time I bought a Barratt house - I'm really looking forward to the move."

Barratt Sheffield sales director, Steve Price, added that it is "the ultimate accolade" to have buyers come back to Barratt for a second or third time

Just a few miles from the completed Manor Fields development, the new Church Gate site is part of commitment by housebuilder Barratt to provide more housing in the area.
