A property developer is giving away iPods to celebrate a first-time buyer sales package at a new development in Salford, Greater Manchester.
Some 200 biodegradable balloons have been released with special tickets attached. The first five people who find a ticket are in line to receive a free iPod.
George Wimpey's first-time buyer package available at The Place in Clifton enables young professionals to move into a home for £99.
Carole Jackson, sales executive at The Place, said: "Our exclusive discount package for first-time buyers also includes five per cent deposit paid, £500 cash per month for 12 months, £500 towards legal fees and £250 towards mortgage fees."
She went on to say that the balloon release is a "fantastic way" of marking the launch of the first-time buyer package.
The development is well-placed for young professionals and new buyers who work in central Manchester, Salford Quays, Trafford, Bolton and Bury.
Prices for the one and two-bedroom apartment start at £104,995.
