Redrow bring Debut range to Selby

First-time homeseekers in the Selby area of North Yorkshire will soon have the option of buying an affordable Redrow home.

The developer's Debut range includes homes that start at £59,995 and will eventually comprise one and two-bedroom apartments and houses.

Redrow hopes to make living in Selby less expensive by charging a monthly fee that covers gas, water, electricity, buildings insurance and external maintenance.

Sue Lambert, sales director, said: "Due to rising house prices many first-time buyers are forced to settle for homes that are in need of expensive repair or situated in undesirable locations.

"However, with Debut, they are getting a brand spanking new home - with nothing to do - so they can just move in, make it their own and enjoy life to the full."

Would-be buyers are invited to register their interest on September 16th and 23rd at The Owl public house in Hambleton, on the outskirts of Selby.

Selby, which now offers job prospects at the new European Science Park in Burn, is usually considered to be a commuter town due to its proximity to Leeds and York.
