Countryside Properties' New Broughton development in Salford, Manchester will be expanded now that the first phase has almost sold out.

The developer has announced a new range if one and two-bedroom apartments and this phase will be complemented by the First Time Buyer Initiative.

This enables first-time buyers to put forward 50 per cent or more of the total cost of their new home, with English Partnerships contributing the remaining amount.

Les Brown, Countryside Properties regional director, said: "The great success of phase one clearly demonstrates the desire of new and existing residents to live in New Broughton.

The second phase of the development is set to include a combination of both affordable and private new homes as we look to further increase the population of the local area."

Countryside Properties' New Broughton apartments are likely to prove attractive not only to first-time buyers but young professionals who want to be five minutes' drive from the bright lights of Manchester.
