Barratt raves over Birmingham commuter town

Wednesbury, a commuter town in the West Midlands, is a good place to set up home, according to Barratt.

Barratt's Edenside development, which comprises 121 apartments and family homes, nestles in quiet surroundings but is located near Birmingham and the M6 motorway.

There is also a Grade II-listed park near the development, which means professionals can relax at the weekend after working all week in Birmingham, Wolverhampton or other urban centres.

David Child, sales director for Barratt, said: "We all know how time is such an important commodity nowadays and our busy lives often leave little chance for rest and relaxation.

"However, for many of our purchasers a home at Edenside has provided them with a chance to cut down their commuting time and give them a little slice of paradise to look forward to at the end of a busy day."

Prices for two-bedroom apartments range from £117,200 and £132,200, while three-bedroom houses cost between £185,250 and £200,250.
