Eco-friendly Northampton homes must go, says Miller

Miller Homes has announced that it would like to sell both remaining properties at its eco-friendly Upton Green development in Northampton.

One of these is a five-bedroom corner home with four bathrooms and two car parking spaces; the other is a four-bedroom terraced house with a single parking space.

Miller Homes is offering mortgage subsidy incentives on both properties, which will effectively reduce monthly repayments by up to £1,000 until the end of the decade.

Steve Garton, Miller sales and marketing director, said: "Meeting monthly mortgage repayments can sometimes be a struggle, especially when a purchaser has climbed up the ladder."

All properties at Upton Green have their own rainwater harvesting systems, which means that water can be reused for toilets and washing machines.

Furthermore, thermal and acoustic insulation exceed building regulation requirements by around 50 per cent, which makes the development an ideal place for eco-conscious homebuyers.
