Miller Homes celebrates internet successMiller Homes celebrates internet success
Miller Homes has said that almost 50 per cent of all its new homes are sold to homebuyers who are already registered with the developer online.
More than 4,600 properties built by Miller Homes have been bought by online members, generating over £798 million in sales since 2002.
Since Miller Homes launched its website five years ago, 3.46 million househunters have visited the site, 144,794 of which are now on the developer's electronic contact list.
Philip Hogg, marketing director at Miller Homes, said: "People want to be able to search for a new home from the comfort of their armchair - that part is obvious.
"Where we seen most success however, is with the customer alert service. Everyone signed up to millerhomes.co.uk gets forewarned of a plot release ahead of the general public."
Miller Homes has built more than 60,000 residential properties in the past 50 years, with over 80 per cent of developments built on brownfield land.
