Barratt has said it is "very excited" to be able to offer its Dream Start scheme to low-income house buyers in the West Midlands.

Dream Start enables low-income buyers, first-time buyers and key workers to pay 75 per cent of the purchase price, while repaying the remaining 25 per cent, interest free, over the next ten years.

However, Barratt has stresses that homeowners would still own 100 per cent of the property from the start.

David Child Barratt sales director, said: "We are very excited to be able to relaunch the Dream Start scheme which proved immensely popular last summer.

"There is however a limited allocation and buyers wanting to benefit from Dream Start should visit their nearest development [in the West Midlands] now to avoid disappointment."

Barratt developments in the West Midlands include Monarchs Gate in Wednesbury, Somerton Court in Perry Common and Saddlers reach in Walsall.
