Linden development 'good news for Berkshire village'

A new housing development known as the Linden Quarter will boost property prices in the Berkshire village of Wexham and help first-time buyers climb onto the property ladder, it has been claimed.

The development, which is made up of 66 family homes and apartments, is aimed at first-timers and commuters and will provide an economic boost to the area, according to housebuilder Linden.

It also fits into the wider regeneration of Berkshire, which is enjoying an ongoing revamp of Slough.

Zoe Dobbs, Linden sales director, said: "Commuters and families will be well catered for and the opportunity for first-time buyers to secure their first step on the property ladder is not to be missed.

"In light of the variety of homes available and the fantastic location, Linden Quarter is anticipated to be a great success and customers should register their interest as soon as possible."

According to the latest set of figures from the Land Registry, house prices in Berkshire have risen by more than 11 per cent in the past 12 months.
