Move in for less than £100 at Tullibody

Homebuyers are being offered the opportunity to move in less for than £100 at a new development in Tullibody in east Scotland.

Known as Ochil View, the development is the creation of housebuilder George Wimpey which just has extended its 'Move in for £99' scheme to selected plots.

Homebuyers pay no more than £99 until the day they move in and the housebuilder has pledged to pay the deposit, stamp duty and legal costs.

Karen Armstrong, sales director for George Wimpey, said: "Young people across the country are struggling to get on the ladder. It's difficult enough finding the deposit, let alone the legal costs and stamp duty.

"What this scheme brings is an opportunity for people in this situation to benefit from having the burden of these costs taken away from them."

Ochil View comprises three-bedroom semi-detached homes and three and four-bedroom detached homes, with prices starting from £175,000.

Meanwhile, Westpoint Homes is offering a number of deals – including up to £5,000 and £10,000 cashback offers – on a number of its Edinburgh and Glasgow developments.
