A family showhome is expected to open at Barratt's Burrium Gate development in Usk this weekend.
The showhome is a detached four-bedroom house priced from £675,000 and forms part of a development that comprises 28 luxury large homes.
Barratt is expecting the development to become one of Usk's most desirable addresses and said its location will play a large part in attracting homebuyers and investors.
Amenities include several golf courses and the St Pierre Hotel and Country Club, which are set against the rolling Monmouthshire hills. There is also easy motorway access to Cardiff and Bristol.
"We are very excited about the new show home as it will give prospective buyers a real insight into the high level of quality they can expect at this development," said Barratt sales director Sandra Dixon.

Usk is twinned with the German town Graben-Neudorf in Baden-Wurttemberg and there have been numerous visits between the two towns, which means that moving to the development is an even more exciting prospect for buyers.
