Miller Homes claims to be the light at the end of the tunnel for first-time buyers who are desperate to get on the property ladder.
It is offering incentives at its popular Fairfield Manor development in Wakefield, including £500 towards legal fees and five per cent deposit paid.
Fairfield Manor comprises two-bedroom apartments, four-bedroom townhouses and five-bedroom detached properties, with prices starting from £132,000.
Lorraine Walsh, area sales manager for Miller Homes said: "We can all remember how daunting it was to buy our first homes and the economy was in a better shape then.
"We want to encourage first time buyers to take the plunge and we promise that Miller will help make the process as easy as possible."
The development is a short walk from Wakefield town centre and a few minutes drive from the M1 and the M62, which is good news for commuters who work in Sheffield, Leeds and Bradford.
