Investors urged to check out Spain's rental marketInvestors urged to check out Spain's rental market
Overseas property investors should consider the rental market in Spain as there is still a huge demand, one expert has said.
Mark Bingham, managing director of Owner Invest, said renting is popular in Spain and demand for rented accommodation is likely to grow in the short term.
He also said that Spain is a buyers' market, which means overseas investors should have no trouble finding bargains.
"Those investing now in a flat market are assured of lower entry costs, coupled with the burgeoning rental market," he told Easier Property News.
"These two factors, plus analysts' predictions that the Spanish slump is temporary, make this an exciting market to be investing in."
One development worth considering is Marbella Royal, which is located near Marbella's El Paraiso Golf Course. It features one, two and three-bedroom apartments, and prices start at £99,000.
According to over-50s insurer Saga, Spain is the most popular destination among Brits planning to spend their retirement abroad.
