New show apartment unveiled in Reading

Millgate Homes has unveiled a new show apartment in Reading to give prospective buyers an idea of what it would be like to live at Upcross Gardens.

The development was once known as the Upcross Hotel and its ongoing transformation has resulted in the renovation of the hotel's north wing, which is where the two-bedroom show home is situated.

David Wrigley, head of sales at Millgate Homes, said Upcross Gardens is a "real labour of love" for the housebuilder.

"The scheme has been carefully considered to ensure the new build elements complement the original building," he stated.

All apartments feature en-suite facilities and a designer kitchen with a range of appliances in a steel finish. Prices start at £244,950.

Other Millgate developments in Berkshire include The Pastures in the village of Woodley and Imperial Court in Wokingham.
