First time buyers could find themselves on the property ladder at a special weekend at the Living @ Park 25 development in Redhill, Surrey.

Built by George Wimpey, the development comprises two, three and four-bedroom homes, which the housebuilder describes as "perfect" for individuals, couples and families.

On July 5th and 6th, George Wimpey will be unveiling new offers that include the chance to purchase an affordable home through national regeneration agency English Partnerships.

"Through the initiative, which sees the government contribute up to 50 per cent of the price, aspiring homebuyers can purchase a brand new home from ... £100,000," said a spokesman.

There will also be a chance to obtain financial and legal advice, free of charge.

Prices start at £199,995, which is well below the average house price in Surrey, which is £315,220, according to the latest figures from the Land Registry.
