First time buyers in Kent looking for a stylish home have the "perfect opportunity" at The Pastures, according to housebuilder George Wimpey.

Located in Hoo St Werburgh, The Pastures is close to schools, a recreation ground, parkland and the Kent countryside, and is an hour from London by train.

Chatham, Rochester and Gillingham are close by and all three destinations boast a wide range of shopping and leisure opportunities.

"To make life in a new home even easier, George Wimpey's easymover programme offers special incentives on selected properties including support for first time buyers," said a spokesperson.

Incentives can be tailored to the circumstances of individual homebuyers but are subject to availability.

According to the Land Registry, house prices in Kent have risen by more than four per cent in the past 12 months, with the average cost of a home now at £205,996.
