The first residents have moved into Barratt Homes' seafront development in Bournemouth, known as Honeycombe Beach, marking the beginning of what promises to be a thriving little community.

Over half the homes at the popular development, which includes apartments, penthouse suites and duplexes, have been sold.

Located near Boscombe Pier, Honeycombe Beach boasts secure underground parking, a 24-hour concierge service and a gymnasium.

"This development has been extremely popular with a wide range of buyers - from families to couples looking for a second home and downsizers," said sales director Catherine Ferguson.

Many of the new homes have terraces and benefit from views of the Dorset coast. Prices start at £240,000 for one-bedroom homes.

Residents can also enjoy Boscombe Gardens, which have just been revamped thanks to National Lottery funding and the sale of the car park to Barratt Homes.
