Retire with ease in NottinghamRetire with ease in Nottingham
The ExtraCare Charitable Trust has joined forces with estate agency chain The Nottingham to help people move into their dream retirement home at Lark Hill Village in Clifton, Nottingham.
Lark Hill Village is a retirement scheme designed especially for people who are over 60. It comprises 327 apartments and bungalows, and there are also shops, restaurants and a health and fitness suite.
The Nottingham's network of 15 estate agency branches will help retirees sell their current properties so they can move into the development.
Phill Hulme, sales manager for The ExtraCare Charitable Trust, said: "A number of our future village residents have not moved home since the 1950s
"It is vital that they feel reassured during their move to Lark Hill."
Construction began in 2007 and the development is due to completed in spring 2009.
A £500,000 appeal has been set up by the ExtraCare Charitable Trust to help fund facilities at Lark Hill Village.
