"Cool" contemporary apartments in the centre of Maidstone are coming soon, it has been announced.

Ward Homes is planning a cocktail evening to mark to the launch of new one and two-bedroom apartments.

The event will take place on Thursday August 21st, starting at 16:00 and ending at 20:00 BST.

Situated opposite Maidstone West railway station, the 44 new homes are expected to be priced from about £130,000.

"Town centre living doesn't get much better than this," said Ann Moriarty, sales director at Ward Homes.

"The proximity of the train station is a huge advantage, and whether you want to shop, relax, exercise, or go clubbing - it's all nearby."

There is also Maidstone East station, which is a little over a mile away and offers direct services to London Victoria.

Ward Homes is part of the Barratt Group and is responsible for a spate of developments in Kent and the south-east.
