Buyers given helping hand in Wrexham

A shared equity event is being hosted in Wrexham over the August bank holiday weekend in a bid to help British homebuyers.

Persimmon is hosting the event at Maes yr Haf on August 23rd and 24th and those attending will have the opportunity to take advantage of the company's Helping Hand offer.

The Helping Hand shared equity scheme allows buyers to pay for a percentage of the property, however it is theirs to own fully.

A bonus of visiting the event in Wrexham includes being entered into a prize draw for £250 worth of holiday vouchers from Co-operative Travel.

"Whatever holiday they opt for, we are giving buyers the perfect opportunity to enjoy a well-earned break after the upheaval of moving house," Claire Jarvis, Persimmon's sales manager said.

Persimmon's helping hand offer means that customers will pay 75 per cent of the property's value on apartments and 85 per cent on traditional homes and can defer payment for the remaining amount for up to a decade.
