A new scheme enabling first-time buyers to get onto the property ladder is now available at a development in Edinburgh.

Redrow Homes has announced its easi-buy scheme is now in place at the Optima site of Ferry Road in the Scottish city, meaning buyers can initially purchase a property for 75 per cent of its list price.

Prices using the scheme start at £119,246 for a two-bedroom apartment, with buyers only having to pay off the remaining quarter of their home's value when they have more funds available.

"Easi-buy is a great option for first-time buyers looking to get onto the property ladder and maybe even those who are trading up but want to gradually step up their commitments," Diana Newton of Redrow Homes Scotland explained.

A similar offer is in place at Fairview New Homes' Grand Central site in Tunbridge Wells, where two-bedroom apartments are currently on sale.ADNFCR-1100-ID-18870883-ADNFCR
