A number of properties aimed at families are currently on sale at a development in Birmingham.

Barratt Homes' Lydiate Place site features six homes containing six or seven bedrooms, making them ideal for parents with many children.

The development is located in Handsworth, which offers easy access to the main shopping areas as well as transport links via the M5, M6 and bus and train links.

Sales director for Barratt West Midlands Graydon Worthing explained that the properties were designed with the local community in mind.

"We found people were crying out for new homes which were large enough to house their families, plus some extended members and we designed Lydiate Place to specifically fulfil that need," he explained.

The housebuilder recently announced that financial incentives - including part-exchange offers - are now available on the range of older properties the company has to offer, with prices ranging from £69,950 to £249,500.ADNFCR-1100-ID-18873217-ADNFCR
