Buyers looking for a new home in Port Talbot, Wales, may be attracted to a Barratt Homes property development, where a part-exchange scheme can grant buyers up to £1,000 a month toward the cost of their mortgage.

Barratt Homes' Abbottsmoor site in Baglan features a number of homes in a rural location, including three-bedroom terraced properties starting at £154,995 and four-bedroom houses priced from £189,995.

Adrian Bird, sales director for Barratt Homes, explained that the scheme will enable buyers to move into a new home quickly.

"You will be able to move … without the worry of a chain and you can stay in your old property right up until your new one is ready," he noted.

The development offers easy access to Port Talbot Parkway train station and the M4, while the shops in the town are currently being refurbished as part of a regeneration scheme.

Barratt Homes also has property for sale at Brierley Hill in Dudley, where prices have recently been cut to £99,950 for a two-bedroom apartment.ADNFCR-1100-ID-18926348-ADNFCR
