A new financial incentive is now in place at a "popular" housing development in Edinburgh, homebuilder Gladedale has announced.
The offer allows buyers at the firm's Strada development off Ferry Road to purchase a home for 75 per cent of the price, meaning a four-bedroom townhouse at the site can be bought for £186,750.
As well as three and four-bedroom townhouses, two and three-bedroom apartments are also available at the Strada, with prices starting at £138,750.
Julie Watson of Bryant Homes - which is offering the scheme in partnership with Gladedale - said that the deal means buyers will not have to "lose sleep" over short-term activity in the market.
"We believe that the shared purchase scheme is offering buyers a way of genuinely reducing any possible insecurity," she added.
The initiative will see purchasers receive an interest-free loan to pay back the remaining cost.
Buyers in east Scotland may be able to take advantage of another offer from George Wimpey, which is offering to pay the Home Report for any buyers who purchase a new property by January 31st.
