Those thinking of investing in property in Spain can find a bargain by looking at distressed homes, it has been observed.
Andrew Benitz, director of estate agency Titan Properties, has urged anyone planning to buy a home in the country to act quickly, nubricks.com reports.
"The green shoots of growth are surely around the corner," he said, although he noted that it is unsure how long the current climate will last.
According to Mr Benitz, the Huelva province in particular offers good opportunities, with government figures showing that price per square metre in the area increased by 7.1 per cent last year, compared to the 2008 level.
And he stated: "No one's managed to knock Spain off the number one spot yet for a holiday home, so the advice is to act now."
Earlier this week easyJet noted that summer flights to traditional destinations such as Spain continue to be popular.
