Sales are doing well at a Barratt Homes development in Bishop's Stortford, it has been revealed.

Barratt Eastern Counties suggests The Mulberries is experiencing high demand for its four and five-bedroom properties, with more expected to be on the market soon.

"Many families are attracted to developments with a village atmosphere, but find it equally important to be close to a wide range of amenities and excellent transport links," comments Rebecca Littler, sales and marketing director of Barratt Eastern Counties.

She claims the properties are built to a high specification, with their close proximity to the likes of Stansted Airport making them particularly desirable.

For a detached, four-bedroom house, prices start at around £349,995, so potential buyers had better move quickly to secure a bargain.

Earlier this month, Barratt Homes also announced a boom in visitor numbers to its Fifth Avenue development in Harlow.ADNFCR-1100-ID-19091369-ADNFCR
