A shared equity scheme is on offer at Stamford Homes across Grimsby and north-east Lincolnshire, it has emerged.
The government-backed Homebuy Direct scheme allows people to purchase their property for just 70 per cent of its value.
"It's fantastic that we are able to provide this scheme on homes across many of our developments," comments Stamford Homes associate sales director Steve Woomble.
The Clee Fields development sees a lot of interest from first-time buyers, the developer reveals, with the scheme giving them more of a chance of getting on the property ladder.
Both Stamford Homes and the government will provide 15 per cent of the shared equity for the properties, with the amount mortgageable through a number of major lenders.
Earlier this month, the developer revealed its properties were doing well in rural Lincolnshire, with Wragby and Horncastle among the most popular.
