Cape Verde offers a number of advantages to those looking to invest in overseas property for sale, Cape Verde Property has said.

Adrian Lillywhite, managing director of the firm, said the island chain off the west coast of Africa is "politically and socially stable" and enjoys excellent weather all year round, maximising potential returns from holiday rentals.

"More flights are reaching Cape Verde from both northern and southern Europe and this is set to grow in the near future from the UK," added Mr Lillywhite.

A more important factor in property investment terms may be that there is limited development space on the small islands, so top locations are likely to always be sought after.

Mr Lillywhite went on to say: "Prices are much lower than in comparable areas of the world, such as the Caribbean or the Canaries."
