HomesOverseas.co.uk, part of Trinity Mirror Digital Property, has recorded a surge in traffic levels to its website, up 21% in just two weeks according to Google Analytics, which supports growing evidence that confidence in the overseas property marketplace is improving.
Property in Spain remains the most popular destination to buy a home overseas, based on page and property views on HomesOverseas.co.uk, over the past month.
Portugal property remains in second position, while property in France has jumped from fifth to third position month-on-month.
Property in Turkey and property in USA have both moved up two places to fourth and fifth spots, respectively.
Elsewhere, property in Greece and property in Italy have both dropped three positions to sixth and seventh, respectively, as Cyprus property remains in eighth spot.
Thailand property has held ninth place, while property in Australia enters the top 10 for the first time in six months, up from 13th.
Here are the top 10 most searched for destinations to buy a home overseas at the moment, with last month’s position in brackets:
