Bulgaria has become one of the top ten places for people seeking overseas property for sale, the latest Top of the Props report from TheMoveChannel.comhas revealed.
While the top spots remained taken by Spain, France, the US and Portugal, Bulgaria returned to the top ten for the first time in three years after attracting 3.3 per cent of all enquiries in July.
Dan Johnson, director of TheMoveChannel.com, said people seeking overseas property for sale are increasingly focused on grabbing a bargain in the midst of the Euro debt crisis.
"Bulgaria's real estate sales have been improving all year, with buyers attracted by exceptionally low prices for winter property, so it's no surprise that interest has increased," he said.
Meanwhile, Property Wire reported that Bulgaria's residential property market has begun to stabilise since the beginning of the year, with local estate agents reporting that the number of transactions has risen for the first time since the downturn began.
