Azzurra, a high-end development overlooking the Sahl Hasheesh Bay, in the Red Sea, Egypt, has been launched and will become one of Egypt’s leading residential resorts.
Azzurra, located 15 km from Hurghada International Airport, has been designed so that no two properties are the same. There is a choice of one, two and three bedroom apartments, all of which have a sea view, a golf view or both. There will be a total of 550 apartments, with completion scheduled for August 2010.
The architecture will blend traditional, oriental and contemporary styles with domes, arches, columns and courtyards. Additionally, there will be swimming pools, restaurants, a retail store, health club and poolside café.
Alex Upson, partner at Cluttons, the selling agent for Azzurra, told Homes Overseas online: “Both Egypt and Azzurra have many benefits. For homeowners, Egypt has a 12-month season. The sun always shines and it is never humid. The Red Sea offers some of the best diving in the World. There are Pheronic sites to visit and an Arabian style culture to enjoy. All this within a five hour flight from the UK.
“Azzurra is a high quality development within a gated community for privacy and security. All properties have sea and / or golf course views. Buyers have a wide choice of layouts from which to choose.”
Upson reports that Egyptian property prices have appreciated by up to 50% over the past two years and anticipates annual rental yields of up to 10%. Prices at Azzurra start from £50,000.
