Machynys Homes was established in 1999 by a group of experienced professionals in the construction industry boasting the famous golfer Jack Nicklaus as one of its partners. They began their first development at Nicklaus Village, Llanelli, South Wales constructing executive style homes around the links of the Jack Nicklaus designed championship golf course, built on the edge of Carmarthen bay, overlooking the Gower Peninsula.
Machynys Homes are now recognised as a premier housebuilder within South Wales.

The company was awarded the UK’s “Best Small House Builder” at the Daily Telegraph “What House” Awards in 2005 as well as “Best Development”. Machynys Homes was awarded “Residential Developer of the Year” at the Welsh Property Awards 2005 and the company gained its third award for Nicklaus Village for “Best Development” in the Daily Mail UK Property Awards in September 2006.
