Less than 10 minutes drive from the historic harbour of Kyrenia is the Village of Çatalköy, the village includes a number of small shops, a selection of Turkish and European restaurants, a post office and a regular bus route to Kyrenia. Several sandy beaches are within a short drive and only 15 minutes away is the new 21 hole Championship Golf Course in Esentepe.

The village of Ozanköy lies between Kyrenia and Çatalköy, along a pretty, meandering lane with pleasant walks between the two areas. Ozanköy has a strong expatriate community and benefits from several excellent restaurants, bars, shops and Cypriot coffee shops.

Çatalköy is overlooked by the picturesque mountainside village of Bellapais meaning "Beautiful peace" which has been immortalised by the famous author, Laurence Durrell in his book Bitter Lemons. Not only does this well-maintained village of Bellapais offer numerous eating places, it is one of the top tourist attractions due to the majestic Bellapais Abbey which now plays host to international musical concerts performed throughout the year.
