Homeseekers in the High Wycombe area could soon be paying a mortgage rate of 4.99 per cent for three years on a new apartment at ConteXt.

This is George Wimpey's popular Buckinghamshire development of one, two and-three apartments that are available from £169,995 (prices are correct at time of publication).

All new apartments at ConteXt boast double glazing, gas central heating, a fitted kitchen with built-in oven and allocated parking.

Tim Betts, regional sales director, said the 4.99 per cent mortgage rate gives customers the chance to make "big monthly savings" on a new home.

"By reducing their outgoings from the day they move, homebuyers can ease financial pressures," he added.

High Wycombe is 29 miles west of London and has a population of around 92,300.

Commuters can walk to the local railway station within five minutes, where regular trains to London Marylebone take three quarters of an hour.
