George Wimpey is offering first time buyers a new opportunity to get on the housing ladder at its Marnel Park development in Basingstoke.

A wide of range properties are now available through the MyChoiceHomeBuy initiative.

Purchasers can secure a mortgage for between 50 and 85 per cent of the purchase price with a low-interest loan.

Home buyers pay off the loan in stages or in total after they have lived in the property for a year.

Tim Betts, regional sales director, said: "We are pleased to be offering a selection of homes to customers who may not otherwise be able to enjoy the benefits of living in a brand new home."

Marnel Park is development of one and two-bedroom apartments, and two, three and four-bedroom houses. Prices range from £131,995 to £324,995 (correct at time of publication).

Basingstoke, which has an estimated population of 80,477, is 48 miles south of London and 30 miles north of Southampton.
