SmartNewHomes.com named top property portal with Daily Mail five-star gold.
SmartNewHomes.com emerged as one of the big winners from the 2008 Daily Mail UK Property Awards, held in London last week, taking Gold in the Property Portal category as the only entrant to be awarded a five-star rating.
Independently judged by a panel of leading industry experts, including representatives from the RICS, NHBC and NAEA, the UK Property Awards recognise excellence in a range of categories throughout the property industry, and are established as one of the most prestigious accolades to be awarded.
Praised for its all-round quality of service, SmartNewHomes beat off competition from all its major industry rivals, and will now represent UK based property portals on the global stage, at the International Property Awards being held in Orlando this Friday.
David Bexon, Managing Director of SmartNewHomes.com, comments:
“We are absolutely delighted to have achieved this accolade. It is highly rewarding to receive such acknowledgement from independent consumer bodies as well as our industry peers. In this tough market Smartnewhomes.com is doing everything possible to raise the awareness of new homes, and to stand out above the largest organisations in our field is testament to the quality and value of service we are able to offer our customers.”
Judges commented:
“It is imperative that, to succeed in such a highly competitive industry, estate agents, developers and others involved in the property business are naturally competitive. This desire to be the best has been channelled by a large number of professionals entering the awards.”
The Daily Mail UK Property Awards has 21 different categories in total, with four and five-star ratings given to the best entries. Every five-star entry is then re-examined to decide the nominees who are to go on to compete for the ultimate World’s Best Award. The World’s Best winners will be announced at a grand presentation dinner, held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Orlando, Florida on November 7th.
