Waterside development 'could tempt' Portsmouth buyers

Buyers looking for a waterside home may be interested to learn of an open weekend taking place at Royal Clarence Marina in Portsmouth.

The site will be hosting the event on the 18th and 19th of October, with visitors being invited to look around Berkeley Homes' recently-restored Granary & Bakery building on the edge of the marina.

A two-bedroom property in the Grade II-listed building was recently purchased by the Franklin family,who have described the development as offering "stunning" views across Portsmouth Harbour.

"We have been spending a lot of time here since we moved in during February of this year," remarked Kim Franklin, who purchased the property as a weekend home for the family.

Prices at the site start from £180,000 for a one-bedroom mews homes, while fully-furnished two-bedroom apartments can be purchased for £250,000.
