From the West: Take A709 Dumfries to Lockerbie road. Entering Lochmaben, continue towards the centre turn left opposite the Crown hotel into Prince's Street signposted Templand. Take the 1st turning left which is Vendance Drive after a short distance Barony Gate is on the left.

From the East: Take the B7068 Langholm to Lockerbie road. In the centre of Lockerbie  turn left, at traffic lights turn right signposted A709 to Lochmaben. Entering Lochmaben continue to the centre where facing is the Town Hall. Pass to the right of the statue of Robert the Bruce into Queen Street. Take fourth turning on the left which is Vendance Drive, after a short distance Barony Gate is located on the left.

From the South: Take M74 Northbound to junction 18 for Lockerbie. At T-Junction turn right continue to a roundabout, take the 2nd exit signposted Dumfries. Take the 1st turning on the right signposted Lochmaben. At the junction with the A709 turn right - Continue with directions from the East.

From the North: take the M74 southbound to junction17 for Lockerbie, exiting the motorway turn left at junction signposted Dumfries A709. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit for Dumfries. Take the first turning on the left signposted Lochmaben, continue with directions from the South.
