Minimum Income for Grant Funded Apartments
To qualify for a one bedroom Grant Funded home you must have a household income of at least £30,000 and no more than £64,300.
To qualify for a two bedroom Grant Funded home you must have a household income of at least £34,000 and no more than £64,300.
Eligibility criteria for Grant Funded Apartments
To qualify for one of our Grant Funded homes you must live in one of the following Boroughs of London: Southwark, Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich or Lewisham. You must also be registered and accepted by First Steps. You are welcome to book a viewing and if you are interested you will be asked to fill in a preference form. Your form will then be prioritised according to the local authority's eligibility criteria.
If you have not already done so you will need to complete a First Steps application form in order to be offered a home.
Minimum Income for Non - Grant Funded Apartments
For a one bedroom apartment your household income must be at least £48,500. There is no maximum income limit.
For a two bedroom apartment your household income must be at least £62,000. There is no maximum income limit.
For a three bedroom apartment your household income must be at least £75,500. There is no maximum income limit.
Eligibility Criteria for Non-Grant Funded Apartments
Applicants from any Borough of London are eligible for non-Grant Funded apartments, however priority will be given to local applicants first. If you are applying for a non-Grant Funded home you do not need to be registered with First Steps.
Please note: You cannot buy a Shared Ownership home if you already own a home. If you are an existing homeowner we will not be able to allocate you a home unless you have started advertising your existing home and are deemed to be in need of housing by your local council.
