Retford is enviably at the centre of the UK rail network with both north to south and east to west lines crossing in the town, providing easy access to Sheffield and the East Midlands.  It is also less than 3 miles from the A1 road for travel north to Doncaster or south to Mansfield, and boasts an excellent bus service offering regular routes to local towns and villages.  For travel further afield, the newly opened Robin Hood International Airport is only ten miles away.
