Both the retirement flats and communal areas in the retirement property are designed to enable wheelchair users to live independently. The Estates Manager will oversee the running of the retirement development, and staff will be on site 24hours a day. Key assisted living related features of Cherrett Court will include a residents' lounge, laundry room, waitress service restaurant (or in the event of illness meals can be taken to a residents flat), function room and lifts that give access to all floors. One hour of domestic assistance is available each week and further assistance can be tailored to individual needs. Each retirement flat contains a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom containing both a bath and separate level access shower.
