Some of the many varied and exciting things to see and do in and around Parc Groswen are the country and forest parks, along with its waterfall walks, sea and sport, served up with a traditional Welsh welcome. These forested, steep sided valleys are home to ancient oak and birch woodlands, providing a haven for a rich variety of wildlife.

Much of Port Talbot’s town centre has undergone major refurbishment to upgrade and landscape the main shopping areas. The award-winning High Street Bridge links the town across the River Afan. Adjacent to the Princess Royal Theatre, the Aberafan Shopping Centre houses a variety of well-known stores as well as a modern well-equipped library in a spacious undercover environment.

A short drive away is the market town of Neath. Victoria Gardens in the centre of the town combines a 19th century bandstand with a circle of standing stones erected for the National Eisteddfod held here in 1918. The Gnoll is Neath’s home to the Neath-Swansea Ospreys rugby team and matches can be enjoyed here throughout the season.

Heading from the West

Leave the M4 at J38 at roundabout take 2nd exit onto the A48 signposted Port Talbot.

At next roundabout take 1st exit onto the A48 signposted Port Talbot/Swansea Staying on the A48  to Margam Road.

Parc Groeswen is on the right just before Our Lady Of Margam RC Church.

Heading from the East

Leave the M4 at J40 at roundabout take 3rd exit onto the A4107 signposted Cardiff.

At the traffic lights turn left onto the A48 Margam Road.
