Rugeley is an historic market town which lies on the northern edge of Cannock Chase and is situated roughly midway between the towns of Stafford, Cannock, Lichfield and Uttoxeter.

Rugeley has two railway stations, Rugeley Town and Rugeley Trent Valley, which lie on the Chase Line connecting Stafford, Walsall, and Birmingham. Rugeley Trent Valley also lies on the West Coast Main Line and has a regular hourly service to London via Lichfield, Nuneaton, Rugby and Milton Keynes, and to Crewe via Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent.

The major roads into Rugeley are the A460 from Cannock, and the A51 Lichfield to Stone. A new eastern bypass was opened in 2007 to take the A51 through traffic out of the congested town centre.

The River Trent and the Trent and Mersey Canal both pass through the town. Rugeley has a leisure centre on Burnthill lane, next to Hagley Park Sports College, which has sports facilities and recently a new 25m, 6 lane swimming pool. Rugeley has also benefited from a skate park being built opposite Elmore Park.

Rugeley has a reasonably sized town centre which has an outdoor market 3 days per week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It also has an indoor market and a shopping centre.

The town is also near to Cannock Chase and there is now a heritage trail funded by the National Lottery linking the town to Hednesford and Cannock. The trail is now complete and contains many notice boards highlighting the town's history.

From Stafford
Take the A34 (Lichfield Road) heading South East, then the A513 at Weeping Cross, heading towards Milford and Rugeley. Continue on the A513 for around 5 miles until you meet the junction with with the A51. Take the A51 heading towards Rugeley, then the second exit at the roundabout heading into Rugeley. Continue down Wolseley Road where the development can  be found on the left hand side.

From the M6 Toll
Exit the M6 toll sign posted Cannock and take the A460 Eastern Way sign posted Rugeley. Continue on the A460 all the way to the centre of Rugeley, and then take the first exit at the roundabout (Globe Island) onto Western Springs Road. Continue down this road, taking the second exit at the next roundabout, and the development can be found about half a mile in front on the right hand side.

From Derby
Take the A53 heading South West. Stay on this road all the way to Lichfield, where you take the A5127, then the A51 sign posted Rugeley(around 8 miles). Upon entering Rugeley take the second exit at the roundabout (Globe Island) onto Western Springs Road. Continue down this road, taking the second exit at the next roundabout, and the development can be found about half a mile in front on the right hand side.
