Construction is now underway on a development of 38 one and two bedroom retirement apartments on Booths Hill Road, Lymm.  Lymm is one of the most prestigious areas of South Warrington and close to the affluent areas of South Manchester.  The centre of the village is a conservation area, notably for its array of historic buildings, cobbled streets, canal side properties and scenic walks around Lymm dam and the surrounding Cheshire countryside.  Lymm has a good range of facilities including shops, restaurants, pubs, post office, banks and local library. Lymm is well located in terms of transport links with junctions for the M56 and the M6 motorways close by. Booths Hill Road has frequent bus services running between the towns of Warrington and Altrincham, with routes also passing through nearby Grappenhall, Thelwall and Stockton Heath villages.
