Shopaholics need look no further than The Oracle, situated in the heart of Reading town centre. It combines both chic boutiques with
major department stores, so there’s something for everyone. After you have ‘shopped til you drop’ what could be better than relaxing in one of the Riverside restaurants, cafes and bars that stretch along both sides of the River Kennet, and when the weather’s fine you can take advantage of al fresco dining and watch the world go by.
Sports enthusiasts are well catered for in the area. Madjeski Stadium is home to both Reading Football Club and the London Irish Rugby Union team and over 15,000 runners annually compete in the Reading Half Marathon.
