Woking is well-renowned as a shopping destination and is under four miles from home, as is the bigger centre of Guildford, less than 10 miles away. The Peacocks Centre in Woking boasts a wealth of High Street names including Marks & Spencer and Debenhams. Additionally, a six screen cinema complex and The New Victoria Theatre and Rhoda McGaw Theatre open up a wealth of entertainment options. Similarly, for eating out, you are spoilt for choice with a Thai in West Byfleet, a Loch Fyne in Cobham and an Auberge and Caffè Uno in Guildford.

To get the heart racing, there’s Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing Centre and a David Lloyd Leisure Centre in Woking as well as the West Byfleet Golf Club nearby. Naturally, there’s also plenty to do within the wonderful surrounding Surrey countryside – from horse riding to mountain biking and leisurely Sunday walks.
