Development details: Kramel School, Cramlington, is a development of 49 new homes on the site of the former school on Clifton Road just over a mile from Cramlington town centre and less than nine miles from Newcastle upon Tyne.
When completed the development will offer two, three and four bedroom homes. Keepmoat Homes’ shared equity scheme can be used on all plots, meaning buyers can secure 100% of the property for just 85% of the asking price.
The rest is funded by the developer in the form of a five year interest free loan. Houses on the development are yet to be put into a council tax bracket.

The Kramel School development is blessed with a fantastic location, with the surrounding area offering plenty in the way of outdoor pursuits. Plessey Woods Country Park is around three miles away and offers over 100 acres of woodland, meadows and pathways around the north bank of the River Blyth, perfect for walkers and cyclists. The North East’s stunning coastline is easily reached by car and makes a great day out. There are beaches nearby at Whitburn, South Shields, Tynemouth, Cullercoats, and Seaton Sluice.
