We are excited to offer to the market a stunning unique selection of homes, within a refurbished listed building.

These apartments have a wealth of character and benefit from fantastic original features; spacious rooms, high ceilings and large windows create a light and airy environment. Each apartment has its own unique layout and spaces, making them as individual as you are.

A short walk to the historic Market Square and high street shops, St Mary’s has been built to an exceptional standard for TVHA by Berkeley Homes and features a high specification, including contemporary kitchens with integrated white goods, white bathroom suites, ceramic flooring to kitchens and bathrooms, and carpets fitted to all living spaces.

Local Information

Just 17 miles south west of Oxford and 72 miles from London, the historic Market Town of Wantage, nestles in the Vale of The White Horse, at the foot of the Berkshire Downs.

Most famous as the birthplace of King Alfred The Great, whose statue stands in the centre of the Market Square, Wantage is blessed with character, epitomised by fine 17th and 18th Century architecture, pretty cobbled streets and fine Georgian facades. Sir John Betjeman, Poet Laureate, also lived in the town for many years.

Wantage has kept pace with the times and is today a thriving community of more than 10,000 people. It is in the midst of a high technology and research area, close to AEA Technology, The Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Esso Research Centre and The Williams Formula 1 Headquarters.

The town offers a good choice of local and high street shops and banks. For a wider choice of shops, Oxford is 17 miles away. There are a number of good pubs, restaurants and hotels in the town.

Local services are provided by Vale of White Horse D.C. and the Wantage Hospital and Health Centre is part of The Oxford Radcliffe NHS Trust. The town is well served with Primary Schools and The King Alfred Secondary School.

The Wantage Leisure Centre provides for many sports, including swimming, squash, badminton and tennis. It also has a Gym and Sauna
