Belle View, Yewdale and Newlaithes primary schools and St. Bede's Catholic and Newtown Community junior schools are all about half a mile away, while the Morton School is your nearest secondary school - there are five more within two miles.
Equally near are not one, but two activity centres - the Magic Castle and Play Raffles - to keep the kids content. There is also the Cumbria Indoor Bowls Club handy at less than a mile and a half.
